Fund-A-Need
Transportation and Accessibility
Did you know that Seattle Prep students travel to campus from 70 different Seattle area zip codes each day? For many, Prep buses are essential to make the school accessible.
This year, we are raising funds to pay for a new bus. You may have heard by now that our beloved, 30-year-old bus, Big Blue, has been laid to rest. She died in mid-September, and she is beyond repair. Although funds will be used to pay for a new bus, it is about much more than the bus. Seattle Prep buses are an essential part of the fabric and life of our school, allowing us to live out our value of accessibility while also being vital to the enrichment of our education by transporting students to school in the mornings, and shuttling students to school retreats, service opportunities, sporting competitions and club activities. In fact, Seattle Prep has more than 90 co-curricular clubs and sports. Most of these rely on our buses.
We ask, if you are able, to contribute what you can to this essential need that helps make Seattle Prep who we are.
If you are planning on attending our live event on Friday, please consider donating in-person.
Fund-a-Need donations will open, along with the Online Auction, on Tuesday, November 15 at 9am
Thank you for giving generously to this year’s Fund-a-Need!
